The final step is to make your web pages available for others to see on the web. If you haven't already named your page, do so by clicking on the tab at the top and then selecting Change name. Just type in something suitable and it will be updated.

The same menu starts the publishing process.

You will get a chance to change your mind! And an interesting recently-added option to limit who can see it. This could be useful for material that you only want certain colleagues to see, or a particular group of students. If you use this 'selected group only' feature then it would be a good idea to have all the restricted content on one page and general stuff on another.

In the top right corner you can also see more options for publishing.

The main items of interest in this window are colour scheme changes and layout choices. You may find that switching from a 3-column (default) layout to a 1 or 2-column one loses a column. Before reducing columns, move the panels around to clear columns first. Save your amendments. everything you change will be updated in the page now live on the web too.

This shows the address of the specific page and of your 'site' generally. If you have just one or two pages and the tabs make it obvious what each page contains then you will usually only need to use the simpler, second address shown (the unhighlighted one).

And if it has all gone horribly wrong, there's always the un-publish button!
